#Me Too Madness

Today while discussing his recent gold medal win, a press person asked if Shaun White had sexually abused a woman in his band. Lena Zawaideh claimed that White had refused to pay her and further sexually harassed her filing a civil suit which was later settled.

White did admit that he sent the woman sexually suggestive text messages and had watched pornography with her in the past but that there wasn’t any impropriety, both being of adult age and both consenting.

The main issue here is that we as a society have become completely unhinged by the current movements with regard to sexual harassment and abuse.

What many seem to forget is that allegations are not indictments or proof of guilt and that people have the right to due process to prove their innocence. Not to be presumed guilty and then attacked, reputation destroyed by an overzealous press or vengeful adversary.

The media in its “Dirty Laundry” fashion really doesn’t care about the truth or veracity of an accusation and consequently treats any rumor, water cooler statement and un-named source as fact. Hardly fair reporting or fair dealing to a person who might be the victim of a false statement or report. And many false reports have been lodged against innocent people with devastating results.

The main point is, if a person claims to have been sexually abused or that they’ve been a victim of sexual harassment, they have the right to report the incident to the proper authorities for investigation and possible prosecution. However, they do not have the right to make negative or disparaging statements to the press or media prior to that investigation being brought to fruition. If they do, and the person being accused is innocent, there must be remedy for the damage, in some cases total ruin of the innocent persons life and family.

We do need to be sensitive to those real victims of sexual abuse and harassment but not at the cost of another citizens civil rights being violated.

Legislation must be written for these very protections providing for severe prosecutions of anyone providing false statement of sexual abuse including those in the press and media who through leaks, innuendo, rumor or false statements cause another to be damaged irreparably by those false allegations. As we have witnessed, the media has lately become a cesspool of false reporting and prone to sensationalized reports spun to give impact to a story and in most cases based on unsubstantiated information.

Until we do, many innocent, “Good” people will be destroyed by false statements and lies by irresponsible media, false news reporting or angry people claiming to be victims believing they will get revenge for a perceived misdeed.

Our congress should be seriously looking into this issue and checking abuses of the first amendment by a ratings crazed media with an agenda all their own.

What is the Duty of a United States Senator

Interesting, Senator Richard Blumenthal is supporting an illegal alien in defiance of the law yet as a former AG of Connecticut and as a sitting US Senator, he swore an oath to support and uphold the law of his state and then the United States of America. He further swore under oath that he would defend the US Constitution and prosecute any person or persons who violated that law.

Now however, he has decided that grandstanding for votes in favor of his oath and performance of his job is OK.

Clearly by his actions, Mr. Blumenthal himself is a criminal violating the law of the land by being an accessory to, and in support of people who continue to violate our law and Constitution for self-serving purposes.

I tend to agree with James Woods on the subject. He said, “What is so difficult to comprehend about this issue? These people came here illegally, continue to remain in violation of the law, take advantage of the systems and benefits that should go to actual Americans and most don’t bother to make an effort to become Americans because our elected public servants by action and words are saying its ok?”

So, if anyone is wondering why we have such poor public servants, it’s because we allow them to make decisions for us when we should be telling them what we want. This is the first stage of totalitarianism.

A system of government that is centralized and dictatorial and requires complete subservience to the state.

“Democratic countries were fighting against totalitarianism”

Un-United Nations

We have borne the burden of the UN for far too long, evidence that we should look very closely at all those countries in the UN and perhaps some of our alleged fair weather allies.

We pay other countries dues, foot the bill, offer a building and some of the most expensive real estate on the planet on our dime and the UN continually goes contrary to everything we do.

The UN SHOULD be moved to another country, let someone else do what we do and prove that all these nations are TRULY united.

POTUS  Trump should should make this one of his “Easy” decisions. Clearly he believes that the United Nations is providing little to no real advances in world affairs and he also understands that there are many in the UN who are simply going along for a free ride.

One final thought is this, if the United Nations is doing such a great job and all of the countries who make it up agree, then why wouldn’t another country like the UK, Germany or France want to have is located in their own country for a period.

To truly be United, every entity who makes up the organization should take full responsibility for, provide security for and foot the bill for the others.

Its only fair, we have had the responsibility since 1945.

A Letter to Senator Chris Murphy on the History of Gun Control Acts

Dear Senator Murphy,
First I wish to thank you for answering my letter and can appreciate you’re quite busy with your office and responsibilities.
In reading, studying and investigating history I found out a great deal about gun laws and legislation both in states and on the federal level.
Many of the arguments I have heard from pro gun legislators are incorrect.
First, there is no legal way for anyone to own a fully automatic weapon in this country, the automatic weapons act of 1934 specifically outlaw all military style and all fully automatic weapons. Fully automatic weapons are those that dispense more that one round per squeeze of the trigger. So, for all those who claim it’s possible to obtain a fully automatic weapon legally, they are spreading inaccurate propaganda.
Likewise, there have been gun control acts in 1920, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34 (mentioned above), 35, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 54, 56, 57, 58, 59, 68, 70, 74, 86, 90 and 2011. I believe that if one were to study this information that is based on factual and federally written Gun Control legislation they would find precious little to create new legislation for.
Next, the argument that taking legal Guns will prevent violence is absurd. You yourself said that during the Dallas incident, there were armed citizens along with the heavily armed police and nobody could prevent the shooting and carnage from happening and the armed citizens were NOT breaking the law. This is a key point, an honest citizen with a legal weapon will not have a first thought to shoot at anybody. Clearly, this indicates another fact, no matter which incident is discussed, the taking of legal weapons from honest citizens will NOT prevent violence as nobody can know what is in a persons heart or mind.
You want stop violence, deal with the mentally ill in this country. Democratic Senator Creigh Deeds was attacked and stabbed by his mentally ill son Gus because there was no available hospital for 24-year-old Gus to go to. So, this mentally ill young man attacked and very nearly killed his father whom was described to be his most loved person in the world. Would outlawing a knife have prevented the attack? Certainly not!
Likewise, the issue at Sandy Point elementary, a case of a mentally deranged young man who was supplied guns by his mother who became the first victim of her mistake. Adam Lanza would have successfully caused carnage no matter what his target was or what weapon he chose and this proved out in this tragedy.
I think that it is interesting that off all of your pet projects one of the most important to your constituents save the economy is term limits on all public servants and I haven’t once heard you on this issue.
Certainly, the founding father never meant for Public Service to be a full time job or lifetime career.
Unfortunately, because of lifetime politicians, we have more corruption and more misuse of federal power and more and more reductions in our liberty.
I truly hope that we get somebody of courage and conviction that is honest enough to bring forth laws pertaining to term limits, eight years for life for any position from the president down.
Washington was coaxed to stay for a second tern and he stated clearly that he wanted to be home with his wife and family on his farm and that he abhorred the idea of becoming a ruler of multiple term.
“There need be new blood in office constantly to check the possibility of corruption and bring new ideas to the offices that the serve in”.
Our elected public servants have become career politicians and have abused the trust of the people they serve for far too long.
I would applaud your getting involved in the endeavor and cease trying to abridge our civil liberties with trickle down legislation.
You would be remembered as having a career of conviction and honesty that is sorely lacking in current Politicians and Politics these days.

Memory Loss, Al Franken and Term Limits

Today, at the urging of his peers in the Democratic Party, Senator Al Franken is expected to resign his seat in the Senate. This following the resignation of his compatriot John Conyers for similar allegations of sexual misconduct.

But what sets Franken apart is the fact that he recently claimed that he can’t remember the actions that have brought him to this point even though he apologized to the first of his accusers, admitting that he may have acted inappropriately.

Clearly, narcissistic behavior by people in positions of power is not a surprise and has been happening for many years, millennia in fact. Any person who has an elevated position, especially for an extended period presents a risk for this kind of corruption and abuse. Not to say that all would be corrupted but with absolute, long term power for an extended period of time, many have proved that they were corrupted over the long term.

Franken is not the first and certainly won’t be the last but it’s clear in the case of John Conyers, the length of his tenure may well have had a great deal to do with his behavior.

There is no doubt that there should be term limits for senators just as there is for the President and term limits would certainly check the possibility of one becoming corrupted and developing narcissistic behavior if only allowed two four year terms.

In the case of Franken, if he truly can’t remember his actions after a short period of time, how can he be expected to represent his constituents in Minnesota? Can his memory be trusted when he presents and argument on the floor of the Senate? And finally, if he can’t remember his abhorrent behavior toward these victims, can he be trusted to remain in his position without the fear of recidivism? Not likely.

If Franken and those like him remain, the Democratic National Convention will suffer irreparably. Perhaps its time for a change and maybe the people should demand term limits now to check the possibility of long term power corrupting our democratic process.

The Effect of Socialism in Universities

Last night at UCONN, Lucien Wintrich who was invited to speak was arrested for Breech of Peace for speaking about “Its Ok to be White”

Curious, as soon as someone other than those of color show pride in their heritage they are attacked.

But what’s even more disconcerting is that our educational institutions are stoking the flames of racial intolerance and preaching an agenda of hatred in the name of being politically correct. Likewise they are molding young minds to think that the radical left is the only “right” way to be, think or behave.

What should concern most people though is that their children are not only being taught what the need to obtain their educations but are being bombarded with Ultra Liberal tripe meant to twist their view of what this country is all about in an effort to bring them into the fold of socialism and even communism in some cases.

This clearly isn’t what most parents want their children to be taught. Likewise, the political agendas of these professors and educational institutions aren’t required course study and are in fact a negative influence on our young people.

Last year, Trinity Professor Johnny Eric Williams wrote, “White People are Ass Holes and Need to Die!”

The College claimed that they didn’t see anything wrong with what he said and after a short hiatus which the they said was due to their investigation but actually due to Mr. Williams hiding, he was returned to full teaching duties.

What the College did not expect was that many people, Legacies who donate heavily to Trinity stopped donations and some pulled their kids out of the school.

What political correctness is doing is NOT teaching racial harmony but rather, shame and embarrassment at being Caucasian.

So, what UCONN and institutions like it are actually doing is showing that 1) There is no place for anything but liberal thinking. 2) Being white isn’t to be tolerated. And 3) Anyone who disagrees must be insane and if not, must be attacked physically and taken out.

So this is what our country has come to, those entrusted to un-biasedly teach our children are using the platform to turn them into obedient, well-educated subversive socialists.

Perhaps the conservative populous should be taking a close look at this. Yes, in electing Donald Trump they may have won the battle but by attrition they will ultimately lose the war.

Washington and the Hollywood Progressives

Recently in the news, we have been witness to a rash of sexual abuse scandals in Hollywood over movie stars and producers alike, committing sexually deviant acts toward various other folks in that industry. Greats like Cosby, Weinstein and now even Spacey and Hoffman have had stories describing sexually unsavory behavior and possibly, charges of rape and forced sexual acts disclosed to the public.

What is surprising is the extent with which the charges and accusations have been developing and flying about and further, that all of these alleged “Progressive’s” would make the Marquis de Sade look like a Cub Scout.

Likewise, all these same “Beautiful People” are up to their eyeballs in support for the DNC and the socialist agenda in Washington.

Many politicians including Hillary Clinton regularly and, most willingly take money from these same people embracing them with open arms and drooling at the chance to be seen among them or have them campaign for their political gain.

It’s really not a surprise to anyone who knows anything about show business. The idea that this has just started happening in Hollywood is absurd and the political animals who pal around with and take donations from these same deviant persons are just as bad as those they so desperately wish to be associated with.

So, what does this say for those same politicians? Clinton openly said she was aghast by the allegations against her one time friend Weinstein but also came out stating flatly that she wouldn’t think of returning the money that Mr. Weinstein donated to her.

Further, many of these same politicians who’ve received great sums of money from movie stars, producers and directors have done so at the expense of those being abused and those they took an oath to serve and protect.

Aghast is a perfect word as is deplorable and both were Ms. Clinton’s words at one time or another. However it’s pretty clear that the people that those comments should have been directed at were she, her Hollywood associates and progressives in general.

In a world so fond of labels and tags we have a group whom, for the purpose of appearing as though they are the enlightened ones, the beautiful ones, the right ones coming out as being the corrupt ones, the contemptuous ones and the deviant ones.

Something to think about the next time you vote or the next time a group of Hollywood Progressives say, “they are boycotting making films”. We don’t need those types of politicians and we certainly don’t need the films or propaganda peddled by a group of Hippocrates who commit heinous crimes with impunity and think they’re above it all. They aren’t that good and we aren’t that naïve!

Opioid Medication Crisis

Much like the gun control hysteria, the opioid “crisis” has become the latest in a long line of knee jerk reaction/political pandering moves by our elected public servants.
Based on the current rates of opioid overdoses, our inept public servants have legislated against the use of any opioid based, pain medication which ONLY effects those of us who go to doctors and receive medication for legitimate purposes and pain management situations.
Currently, it is illegal for doctors to prescribe more than ten tablets of any opioid medication to anyone needing the medication for the purpose of killing legitimate pain.
Further, the laws being passed as with their gun control laws ONLY prevent legal, innocent people with legitimate pain from obtaining prescription medication containing opioids.
And again, like gun control laws base this urgent need on trying to prevent people who are illegally abusing these medications for the purpose of getting high obtaining them.
This means that people with diseases like cancer, lupus and chronic fatigue syndrome will have to get out of their beds every five days and visit a physicians office to get medication or be placed inpatient at a hospital in order to deal with pain management situations.
This is absurd, public servants in their attempts to appear that they care and are working on issues produce legislation time and again that does NOT help the average, law abiding citizen but endeavors to prevent illegal activity at the expense of those who obey the law.
Consider this, if you or a family member get a disease with considerable pain, the likelihood of your being able to be home with your family has now been significantly reduced by current legislation.
Further, the possibility of people at end of life will not be able to consider the option of passing in their own home with loved ones but be relegated to a hospital facility with strangers. Not what I and many would wish when our time comes.
Our public servants continue to run amok at the expense of those who employ them. Letting it continue makes no sense at all.

Our Children Taking a Knee

This afternoon I was unfortunate enough to be listening to the local Connecticut News and heard a report that Newington high school was allowing the students to kneel during the playing of the National Anthem!

I found this very disturbing being a tax payer who’s taxes help pay the salaries for these Agenda pushing Socialist teachers and support the spineless school administrators who allow instructors to teach a student to disrespect this country and further think that the teachers in question should be called out to identify what their political leanings are doing in the teaching program of our children.

I suspect if the powers that be in the town were to be told that every person who disagrees with this policy would withhold taxes or at the very least funding for those schools that believe our children need to be programmed as socialists, they’d find their balls and stop this bullshit.

In my opinion, if an illiterate, dumbass, NFL player wants to take a knee, so be it, we will simply boycott the NFL and let them suck eggs for those exorbitant salaries they expect. The actions clearly expose the stupidity behind the NFL and the actions of its players who’ve obviously took to many hits to the head if they think they are oppressed whilst making millions.

But our children are not a canvas for the development of new mini socialist progressives as they favor being called. Our children are there to learn not become a social experiment in brainwashing.

Please let this school and those like it know that they’re NOT doing the job we expect and keep in mind the majority does not agree or pander to such actions by anyone.

If these teachers, faculty and others who are entrusted to shape our kids young minds don’t think this country is worthy of respect, they can go to work for North Korea, Cuba, Iran or any other of the many rogue or communist states that hate us for our way of life! But beware; those countries unlike our wonderful country will not hesitate to take violent action if you try to teach something against the state.

Perhaps the problem here is that these same socialist wanna-bee’s never had to defend the rights they so easily stomp all over with their lives and should spend a little time in a boot camp or forward position to “Learn” what it costs to have the rights they so detest. If I weren’t a college-educated person, I’d call them “SCUMBAGS!” But as I am, I’ll simply say, Inept, socialist, dumbasses all!
